MOM’S CHICKEN & RICE BAKE

Easy and delicious, this was a family favorite growing up! Great dish for kids and adults!

Serves: 4
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 45-75 minutes
Total Time: 50-80 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ¾ cup minute rice
  • 4 pieces of chicken
  • Lipton’s onion soup mix

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F
  2. Spray glass dish with non-stick cooking spray
  3. Combine soups and milk in a separate bowl
  4. Place rice at the bottom of the glass dish
  5. Top with soup mixture
  6. Top with chicken
  7. Top w/ Liptons mix
  8. Cook bone-in chicken for 1 hr. 15 mins. or boneless chicken breast for 45 mins. (or until juices run clear)
  9. Half way thru cooking, mix the rice
  10. Let cool for a few minutes and serve
